Mitchell honorably served our country as a sailor in the United States Navy during the Korean War era.
He was married to the love of his life, Barbara for 62 years. Together, they had 3 wonderful children. Mitchell would drop whatever he was doing to help his family. He loved being both a grandpa and great-grandpa.

Mitchell was a parishioner of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church for 60 years. He loved to serve others and was very involved in the Stephen Ministry. In his leisure time you could usually find Mitchell outside fishing, or perhaps down at the bowling lanes. A loving, strong and proud man, Mitchell set a pattern that molded the hearts and lives of those entrusted to his care, both at home and in the community. He touched a multitude of hearts and souls in his journey through life and leaves a legacy that is strong and true. He will be missed and loved immensely. In the words of Mitchell, “PRAY, HOPE, AND DON’T WORRY”.
