Pam was deeply caring and devoted to her family. She and her husband, John, met in junior high and shared 51 years of marriage. Together, they built a life and family they were proud of and unconditionally loved. When her daughters, Nicole and Jackie, were young, Pam worked in their schools as a lunchroom and teacher’s aide, allowing her to be with them and care for her family.
Pam especially treasured being “Nana” to Nolan, Grayson, Nora, and Lainey. She loved their hugs, caring for them, making them crocheted hats and blankets, and, of course, special strawberry milk. Her generosity extended beyond her immediate family. She was always willing to help family and friends and in recent years you could find her crocheting hats, scarves, and blankets for people in need and babies in the NICU.
Pam enjoyed cooking, baking, working in her yard, and often settled in with a home improvement or crime show. Her family will especially remember her spaghetti, chicken pie, peanut butter fudge, and the many years of Christmas cookies.
Pam faced many challenges throughout her life, but she met them with determination, perseverance, and a little bit of stubbornness. Her faith always remained important to her and gave strength through difficult times.
Pam is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Nicole (Mark) DeBoever and Jackie (Andrew) McCool; grandchildren, Nolan, Grayson, Nora, and Lainey; and sister, Becky Gammey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Esther Kantorski, and siblings, Ted Kantorski, Debby Masakowski, and Rick Kantorski.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, 1440 W. 9 Mile Road, Ferndale, Michigan 48220. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
