Patricia was the devoted wife of the late Charles for more than 50 wonderful years. Together they built a loving family and shared countless memories. She enjoyed bingo, trips to FireKeepers Casino and camping at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Indiana, where many treasured memories were made. A longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Patricia lived a life centered on faith and family. Family was always her greatest joy. As the family grew over the years, holiday celebrations became so large that everyone could no longer gather in a single home. Those gatherings were made even more special by Patricia's famous homemade Italian cookies. She never needed a recipe; she measured every ingredient by heart.
Patricia had a big sweet tooth. A trip to the grocery store always followed the same routine: first a bundle of bananas, then straight to the bakery. She was a lifelong fan of Butterfinger candy bars, and once a bag made it into the house, it never lasted long. Even in her final days, she was asking for one of her favorite treats, cannoli’s from Tringali's Bakery.
Loving wife of Charles for over 50 years. Beloved mom of Beverly (Robert) Smith, Evelyn (Jeffrey) Tochtone, Charles M. (Julie) Harms, Mary (Ronald) Stebbeds, William Harms, Kelly Ford, the late Patricia Hoover and Cheryl Harms. Cherished “grandma Pat” to Theresa, Amy, Robbie, Kevin, Jennifer, Amanda, Timothy, Melissa, Elizabeth, Ronald, Joseph, Heather, Jaala, Shelby, Devon, Erin, Tyler, Trevor, Matthew, Nathan, and the late Michelle. Also survived by 25 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Shirley, Jeanette, Joann, William, and Neil. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 19700 15 Mile Road, Clinton Township, on Thursday, July 2, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.
