Patricia attended St. Florian Catholic School, where she excelled academically and proudly earned a place on the honor roll with all A’s. During her youth, she dreamed of becoming a journalist, a reflection of her curiosity and love for storytelling.
On March 3, 1951, Patricia married the love of her life, John, in Norfolk, Virginia while he was on leave from the United States Army. Together, they began their life in Hamtramck before building a home in Warren, Michigan, where they resided for over 60 years, creating a lifetime of cherished memories.
Patricia dedicated over 25 years of her career to Roney Investments Brokerage Firm in Detroit. She truly loved her work, especially the opportunity to be surrounded by dear friends, some of whom she had known since high school.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Patricia, found her greatest joy in her family. She treasured weekends spent caring for her grandchildren, always ensuring they were safe, well-fed, and deeply loved. Known affectionately as a “worry wart,” her constant concern was simply another expression of her boundless love.
Patricia was a faithful member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Warren for over 50 years. She enjoyed making crafts, traveling “up north,” and sharing laughter with those around her. Her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor brought joy to many. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, where her lucky streaks were the envy of all.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her loving family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was the beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Cynthia (Michael) Vostoris-Miller, John Vostoris, Laurie Vostoris, and the late Ken Vostoris. Mother-in-law of Karen Vostoris. Devoted grandmother of Kenny (Sheri) Vostoris, Kristopher (Leslie) Vostoris, Sabrina (Michael) Shearer, and Nickolas (fiancé Kaitlynn Murphy) Vostoris. Caring great grandmother of Garrett, Alyssa, Jacob, Alex, Kai, Madelyn, and Desmond. Best friend of Virgina, Delphine, Phyllis, and the late Stasha, Helen. She was also survived by many other loving family members and friends.
