Getting back to nature was always a welcomed lift to his spirits, and never more than when he was enjoying one of his favorite sporting pleasures of fishing. Patrick loved the challenge of casting his line out in search of the 'big one,' yet equally enjoyed the peace and serenity that accompanied his afternoons of angling. When he wasn't working, another of the things he loved to do was golf. Just like his chase for the big one at the fishing hole, Patrick enjoyed countless hours chasing that infamous 'Hole-in-One' on the links. Along with the fun and challenges that went with the sport, it was yet another way for him to take in the beauty and pleasure of the outdoors that he loved. Traveling was also a highlight for Patrick, especially of late as he and Susan shared a host of wonderful memories while on the road in their treasured motor home.
