Ralph A. Nicolai

Ralph A. Nicolai, age 66 of Clinton Township, died suddenly Friday, April 15, 2005 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills. Mr. Nicolai was born October 09, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Raymond W. Nicolai and the late Pearl (nee: Wurm) Nicolai. Family members surviving are his wife Grace, his children, Raymond, Kenneth (Cindy), Nadine, and Jason Lascu. Also his siblings, Barbara (Ron) Wiechel, Vivian (Richard) Kotarba, and Carol Reed. Mr. Nicolai worked for a short time with the United States Postal Service, before going to work with Conrail Rail Road. Mr. Nicolai retired in 2003 after 32 years with the railroad working as a car-man. Mr. Nicolai loved playing cards and traveling to the casinos in Las Vegas with his wife. Also he enjoyed bowling, surfing the internet to buy things on Ebay, and country line dancing with his wife, whom they both belonged to the Rock N Country Line Dancers, where they would dance at festivals and fairs around southeastern Michigan. Visitation for Ralph will be held at D. S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home on Monday April 18th, from 5-9 P.M. and on Tuesday from 2-9 P.M. Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 20th 10:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Wegner officiating.
