Raymond Howard Dale

Raymond Howard Dale, age 83, of Center Line, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his residence with his daughter, Karen, by his side. He was born June 2, 1938 in Switchback, West Virgina, and was the son to the late Gilmer Louis and the late Emma Jane (nee; Huffman) Dale. There were a total of 16 children (6 boys and 10 girls) and Raymond was the youngest out of the boys, but he was the last of the 16 children to be reunited with their parents.

One of Raymond’s favorite pastimes was watching sports with baseball being his all time favorite. His favorite team was the New York Yankees and he took every opportunity to “rub” it in his sister, Margie, and Nephew, Chris, faces when the Yankees took on the Detroit Tigers and won. But, he did not like it one bit when Margie and Chris did it back to him when the Tigers would win. You would also never catch him with out a baseball cap on, he had several to choose from, most being gifts he received from his family.

Another favorite was his love for playing cards, poker to be exact. When he was younger, him and his family would play for hours, sometimes into the early morning. He just loved being with his family. He didn’t always know how to show it but he really loved his children, Kimberly, Karen and his son, the late Raymond H Dale Jr.

He leaves behind his daughters Kimberly (Gino) Denuzio, Karen (Gus) Muni, his grandchildren Brittany, Joseph and Jacob Denunzio and Jessica and Paul Muni, and his great-granddaughter Genevieve. His also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He will be missed.
