

Renee S. Wojciechowski, age 49 of Redford, Macomb Township,and Warren, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills Michigan. Renee was born June 01, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of John Wojciechowski and Joyce (nee: Ordakowski) Wojciechowski. Renee was raised in Warren and graduated from Warren Cousino High School the class of 1979. She attended St. Sylvester Catholic Church as a youth and received all her sacraments there. Following high school Renee attended Central Michigan University and Oakland University. Renee later served her country by enlisting with the United States Army and served with the Military Police; also she worked various jobs until finding her calling as a caseworker working within the Social Work arena. Social work was Renees gift to others she had a vocation for the less fortunate and homeless, and even in death Renee gave of herself by donating her corneas to a vision impaired recipient. She was a consummate caregiver her entire life, she cared for family members and animals. When Renee was not working she loved to cook for others, tend to her garden, and go camping anytime her schedule would allow. Quiet time spent at home was spent enjoying nature or gazing at the stars. Renee will be truly missed by her family, loved ones, and all that she cared for. Renee was the Beloved daughter of John Wojciechowski and Joyce Wojciechowski. She was the dearest sister of Lisa (Eric) Schulz, Terry Morris, and the dear Aunt of Andrew, Nicholas, Scott, Leah, and Sydney. Renee is also survived by her loving companion Dawn Richardson, and many dear friends. Visitation for Renee will be Thursday from 5-9 pm and Friday from 2-9pm with an evening Vigil at 7pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). Renee will lie in state Saturday 10:00am at St. Sylvester Catholic Church, until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Gary Schulte and Rev.
