Richard was the beloved father of Richard C. Cleveland and cherished grandfather of Sara Hanna. He was the dear brother of Randy (Brenda), Donna (Melvin) Ascott, Keith, Tom, Debbie (Jeff) Poirier, Karen (the late Ronald) Bojarski, and Rebecca (William) Tomei. He will be deeply missed by his many other loving family members and friends.
Richard enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and deer hunting in Northern Michigan. A true handyman, he was someone who enjoyed working with his hands and could always be counted on to fix, build, or lend a helping hand.
Visitation will take place on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a 7:00pm prayer service at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan 48093.
