Richard E. Harms

Beloved son of Margie Harms and the late Barry Harms. Cherished father of Jessica and Margie Harms, whom he loved dearly and considered his greatest joy. Loving grandson of the late Elmer and Barbara Harms, Marjorie Deming, and the late Richard D. Collins. Dear brother of Kimberly Rauen, John Romeo, and the late Barry and Tammy Harms. Richard is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him deeply.

Born on May 23, 1979, Richard was raised in Warren, Michigan, and graduated proudly from Lincoln High School. A passionate sports enthusiast, he loved playing tennis, baseball, and basketball, and was a loyal supporter of Michigan football. Richard found peace and joy in long walks, often seen strolling through neighborhoods or spending time at Dodge Park in Sterling Heights.

He had a kind heart and a generous spirit, especially when it came to children. His warm smile and gentle demeanor left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Above all, his daughters were the center of his world, he loved them unconditionally and would do anything for them.

Richard will be remembered for his deep love of family, his passion for life, and the quiet strength of his character.

A Memorial Visitation for Richard will be held on Friday, August 22nd from 3-8pm with a Memorial Service at 6pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road in Warren.
