

Richard Adam Humbach, age 84, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Richard was born on July 26, 1940, in Winegars, Michigan, the sixth of nine children born to Anton and Rose Humbach.
Richard was a devout Catholic who loved the Lord and his family very much. He retired from General Motors after 37 years where he worked as a cutter grinder. Richard had a green thumb and his plants flourished. He enjoyed planting a vegetable garden and taking care of the flowers and plants both inside and outside the house. In his younger years he enjoyed deer hunting and also pheasant hunting.
Richard is the beloved husband of 62 years to Adelaide Humbach. Loving father of four children: Adelaide (Louis) Przebienda, Doris (Tom) DeVelder, Rita Humbach, and Richard E. (Sarah Wells) Humbach. Cherished grandfather of Monica (Peter) Cai, Chris (Megan) Przebienda, Nicholas Przebienda, Maria (Howard) Su, and Nicole Muczynski. Proud great grandfather of Dominic, Liya, Joseph, and Thomas Cai, and Esther Przebienda. Survived by his brothers Joseph and G. Michael (Nancy) Humbach and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A visitation for Richard will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren. An instate will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral mass at 12:00 PM at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 41233 Ryan Road, in Sterling Heights.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s name to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen or the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
