As a soldier in the Army's Company "D", 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry, Richard served with pride and bravery, and paid the heavy price of being wounded in battle. A proud and valiant Purple Heart recipient, we honor his memory & service with esteemed gratitude.Married to the love of his life for 50 years, Richard and Toni had much to celebrate and a host of blessings that helped to nurture and sustain the bonds that kept them close. Much of what bolstered Richard's role as husband and helpmate came from above,...the light and guidance from his Heavenly Father. A longtime member and parishoner at St. Mark Catholic Church in Warren, Richard was quite active in the church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, and often volunteered with the St. Mark Food Pantry. Not only was Richard generous and giving with his time at church, he was also a pillar to his family and attentive to their needs and the cares of home and hearth. To family and friends the same, his love poured out like sunshine on a summer's day,...and" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">...and warmed the lives of all with whom he met. He was a simple man, yet possessed the heart of a saint and served with humility and passion. He leaves an imprint on the hearts of all he touched,...and is sure to hear those blessed words, "Well done, good & faithful servant." May he rest, safely, in the arms of God.Richard was the beloved husband of Toni. Devoted son of Gladys and the late Henry Kryszak.
