Richard was born in Detroit and eventually moved to Warren where he attended Lincoln High School, graduating in 1971. One of his favorite pastimes growing up which eventually carried into adulthood was camping with his parents to places like Algonac, Groveland Oaks, and eventually Walden Woods. Richard was a hardworking man and worked as a mechanic for several dealerships before retiring from Roush. In his leisure time, you could usually find Richard bowling a strike at the local bowling alley, watching hockey or baseball on TV, or enjoying an ice cold Bud Light.
Richard was married to the love of his life, Mary, for 40 years and somehow never seemed to have a fight. Together they had five children, whom he devoted his time to coaching in all of their sports. Richard loved being a Papa to his ten grandchildren. He would spend as much time with them as he could, and loved feeding the kids banana splits for breakfast claiming, “There’s fruit and dairy in it!”. Richard was known for being a jokester; he told the best “Dad Jokes” in the book. He was loyal, kind, generous, and wholesome, yet there are not enough words in the world to describe the man that Richard was. He was the Captain America of his family, and he will be missed immensely beyond measure.
Richard was the beloved husband of Mary (McGuckin) Noll. Loving father of Jennifer (Kerry) Barozzini, Robert (Kristy Gura) Noll, Paul (Nikki) Noll, Richard (Jessica) Noll, Jr., Jamie (Danny) Bartz. Adored Papa of Alycia, Kailee, Robert Jr., Ella, Christopher, William, MaKenzie, Malori, Evan, and Lucas. Dear brother of Tim (Joanne) Noll and Pat (Chris) Kleisinger. Cherished dog dad of Axel and Marley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Richard will be held Saturday, August 28th from 3-9pm with a Funeral Service at 7pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI 48093.
