He is survived by his daughters, Rayna (Adam) Warford, and Ramsey (Corey) Nicholson, his former wife, Regina Champion Edington, and one granddaughter, Lynley Araya Warford, all of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Catherine Arthur, of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Lisa (Wayne) Terry, of McDowell, Kentucky, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Albert Thomas Edington, Sr., of Midway, Kentucky, and his mother, Ruth Ann Hancock of Tazewell, Virginia, brother Albert "Tommy" Edington, Jr., brother Roy Edward Edington, and a great-niece, Mikaia Ryan Smith.
A private service will be held at a later date.
