Robert Keith Hollifield

Hollifield, Robert K. " Bob," died January 7, 2015. He was born February 6, 1943 in Detroit to the late Raymond and the late Edna Mae Hollifield (nee Robertson). Robert was 71. Bob was passionate about his work as a bump and paint man, working on both cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed his rock and roll music, especially AC/DC, and was a huge fan of the rock radio station, WRIF. He was a big western movie fan and especially enjoyed Clint Eastwood movies. Bob was a regular player of the lottery, always hoping to hit it big. He also enjoyed his time playing cards, especially poker with his family and friends. Mr. Hollifield spent most of his time in Michigan, but he did move to Florida for 11 years furthering his love of beaches. When he wasn't working or spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed sitting back and watching movies. He would watch drag racing, football and his favorite home town teams, the Red Wings and the Lions.Former husband of Susie Singleton. Father of Bobby (Lisa) and Randy. Brother of Linda (Glenn Smith) Marschner, Nan (Nelson) Charles, Debbie (Wayne) Fitzpatrick, Raymond (Geri), Carl (Barbara), Darl, David, Kimberly (Rick) Puckett , the late Star Smith, and the late Eric Schneider. Grandfather of Matthew, Nicholas, Nathan and Emily. Visitation for Bob will be held Monday, January 12th from 3 - 9 pm, with a 7pm Funeral Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd.) in Warren. Please share memories at Bob's guestbook above.
