

Robert Felix Luszczak died peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on January 28, 2014. He is survived by his wife "Stevie" (Stephany Luszczak), daughter Kathryn Kelly (Noel), and two grandchildren, Nicholas Filimon and Stephany Wilkes (Ian). An Army veteran of both World War II and the Korean War, Robert spent most of his professional life at the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) in Warren, MI. He was a Civil War history buff and an early adopter of technology right through his 80s. With thanks & praise from a grateful nation, we pay homage to Robert for the call to duty he proudly answered by serving as SGT First Class in the United States Army.Some of his happiest days were spent fishing and boating while vacationing with family and friends on Bass Lake in Traverse City, MI. He traveled far and wide in the past 12 years, included extended trips to Poland, France, Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, California and a road trip through Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Robert will be forever remembered for his service to our country, his travels and his love for his family. He leaves a legacy of love to those whose hearts were enriched because he cared.Visitation for Robert will be Wednesday 3-9pm with a 3pm ACWC Rosary at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile) in Warren. He will lie In State Thursday at 9:00am until the time of his Funeral Mass 9:30am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Warren. Donations appreciated to the Capuchins, 1820 Mt.
