Born in Detroit to the late Wladislaw (“Walter” or “Cy”) and Frances Mularski, Robert stayed active and committed to his love for his family his entire life. Robert went fishing whenever he could when he wasn’t coaching baseball and basketball; Robert was a big fan of the Detroit Tigers. The family would gather around the dinner table whenever they could eagerly awaiting the baked goods made by his wife Elaine, but enjoyed the occasional downtime when Robert had a knack for grilling, especially his barbeque chicken. Elaine, Robert, and the kids would all pile into the car to go to summer cottage vacations, or other road trips to together, as long as they could find coverage for the kids paper route delivery. Later, Robert and Elaine often made many several trips per year to Las Vegas to visit the casinos and go sightseeing. When they weren’t in Vegas they would bet on games of Yahtzee and Solitaire to up the stakes. A longtime member of Playdium Mens Jr. House League and most recently the Fraser Star’s Veterans Men’s Invitational with family and friends on the team roster, Elaine and Robert were committed lifelong bowlers. Robert always treasured the time he got to spend with his family the most. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Robert will be missed dearly.
