Robert E. Short, 58, of White Cloud, Michigan, died Tuesday, August 30, 2005, in Warren. He was born October 6, 1946, in Ladd Ohio. Mr. Short was a former owner of S&S Steel Rule Die in Warren, a company he started in 1978 and sold in 1992. He moved to Michigan in 1964 and married Bunia Gaye in 1965. His family descried him as a great person, a wonderful father and husband who enjoyed hunting, fishing and four-wheeling. He is survived by his wife, Bunia Gaye; mother, Hazel Short; daughters, Melissa and Robin (Jim Ebersol); siblings, Donald (Barb), Steve (Tongling), Harry (Kathy) and Tim (JoAnn); sister-in-law, Sharon; and grandchildren, Katelynn, Kyle and Jeremy. He was predeceased by his father, Anderson; brother, George. Visitation is 2-9 pm on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service on Thursday at 1:00 pm.
