Robin was raised in Warren and graduated from Warren High School, the graduating class of 1981. Following her schooling she worked various jobs before becoming a “stay at home Mom" to raise her children. She was a loving mother to her children and a wonderful cook and baker. She was known for her peanut butter fudge and her potato candy.
During the time she was raising her children, Robin enjoyed tending to her vegetables in the garden, playing gin rummy, and camping with her family. Throughout her entire life, Robin held a love for animals,...especially dogs.
Her love of animals led to her business of dog grooming later in life. For over 15 years, she worked as a pet groomer from within her home. She also cared for the less fortunate and was always willing to lend a hand for someone in need.
Robin is survived by her husband Donald Hunter and her loving children, Amanda (Scott) Varner, and Aaron Minda. Robin was the Meemaw to Hailie, Hanna, Hayden, Logan, Charleigh, and Ryan. She was the beloved daughter of Carol and Roger Curry, and the dear sister of Sue (Keith) Rush, and the late Tony Phipps. She was the cherished aunt of Kayla (Aaron) Bliss, Kara (Jared) Craft, Josh Phipps, and the late Kandis Rush.
Visitation for Robin will be held Tuesday June 23rd from 3-8 pm, with a Funeral Service 7 pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren.
