OBITUARY

Ronald Lesky

January 27, 1947November 2, 2021

Ronald Lesky, age 74, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away on November 2, 2021.

Born in Michigan to the late Joseph and Eleanor Leske/Leskiewicz, Ron made friends wherever he went because of his natural “gift of the gab” some would say, but also his kind heart and the smile he wore to match. Everyone loved to be around Ron; he had a great sense of humor and even though he tended to tell some of his favorite jokes over and over they still made everyone laugh. Most days you could find Ron walking his dog the late Ozzie and the newest addition Zoey, which tended to be long walks because he would stop to talk to the neighbors and made a point to know what was going on in his friends’ and family’s lives. Ron was the kind of guy that always had to stay busy. In his work as a master machinist, he learned all aspects of his craft from analyzing the problem that needed to be fixed, designing the part that would fix the problem, and installing it himself. He loved spending time with his family and friends above all else and they loved him just as much. Everyone would gather around the dinner table or the backyard for a barbeque with whatever Ron was able to throw together from his pantry, which somehow always tasted amazing, for the food and good times Ron brought with him. Ron was a beloved fiancé, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many and will be missed dearly.

Cherished fiancé of Terry Petrusha. Loving father of Pamela Chow, Alison Corbeille, Ashley Lesky, and Brett Lesky. Dear grandfather to Samantha, Daniel, Nicole, Jacob and Emily. Beloved brother of Daniel (Margarete) Leske. Caring uncle of Darren, Brandon, Austin, Sierra, and Chase.

Memorial visitation for Ronald will be held Sunday, November 28th from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 12:15pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren. Inurnment to take place at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy at a later date. Immediately following services at the funeral home for Ronald there will be a memorial luncheon. Deepest sympathies to Ron's fiance Terry, his children and grandchildren, and to Danny and family. Ronnie was my cousin and I hold very fond memories of our family get togethers in Detroit and Windsor.
Ronnie was a joy to be around and he was taken far too early. Wishing his family comfort.

I am having a hard time coming to grips with the loss of a good neighbor. I lived directly next door to Ron and Terry for 16 years. Ron's voice and laughter were bigger than life. Now there is silence. I don't think there is a single resident in this small cluster community that was not drawn in by Ron's charismatic personality. I loved ♥ to see him with his buddy Ozzie who he walked throughout the community. It was Ron's delight to run into neighbors and share the news of the day. After Ozzie's passing he had to acclimate the new puppy, Zoey, into the routine which proved to be quite the challenge. She is a cutie though. I will always remember Ron with a smile on my face...as he would like it instead of a tears in my eyes. Until we meet again, dear neighbor, God grant you eternal rest.
