Rose was a home body who loved taking care of her husband Jim. She would spend her time crocheting afghans, reading countless Harlequin books and watching “David in the Kitchen” on QVC.
Rose is the beloved wife of 63 years to Jim Ballew. Loving mother of Karen (David) Bolam, Pat McDonough, and Kathy (Jim) Whidden. Cherished grandmother of Julie, Cliff (Theresa), Kevin (Mallory), Kim (Dennis), Amanda (Roy), and Emily. Treasured great grandmother of Logan, Lucas, Cayden, Evy, Hailey, Roy, Lily, Abby and Alex. Dearest great great grandmother of Aubriana. She is the beloved sister of 6 and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation for Rose will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088, with a prayer service at 5:30 PM.
