Sam S. Frazzitta age 92, of Sterling Heights, died Sunday, November 1, 2009. He was born October 3, 1917 in Detroit. Sam was a long time parishioner and usher at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Warren. He was a recent resident at Oakmont Manor in Sterling Heights. His hobbies included dancing, golfing, bowling, and traveling. He especially enjoyed going on cruises. Sam is survived by his dear friend, Frances Gronowski; daughter, Barbara (Don) Straith; grandchildren, Don (Dawn) Straith and Pam (Greg) Haller; great grandchildren, Chase and Lauren. He is predeceased by his wife, Helen. Visitation for Mr. Frazzitta will be held Tuesday 3-9 p.m. at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). He will lie in state Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Sylvester Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Officiating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Gary Schulte.
