Sandra was raised in Warren and graduated from Fitzgerald High School the graduating class of 1972. Following her schooling she worked in the Home Health Care services for most of her adult life.
Away from work Sandra was happiest being surrounded by her family, cousins, and friends. She cherished her time with her cousins visiting the Ogemaw County Fair along with spending time with her sister and brother and their children.
Sandra is survived by her brother Albert Schmid and her sister Lorrie (Leonard) Brashaw. She was the loving aunt of Allan (Victoria) Brashaw, Jackie Schmid, Crystal Schmid, and Jennifer Schmid. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, and siblings, Walter and Cheryl Schmid.
Due to the current COVID virus restrictions a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
