Sandra J. Goetz

Sandra J. Goetz, age 85, of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Sandra was born June 25, 1937 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Herndon and Emma Pyatt. She retired, after over 35 years, from Bi-County Community Hospital in Warren, Michigan. Throughout life, Sandra enjoyed shopping, going to garage sales, playing Euchre, crafting, cooking, baking, and vacations at Hubbard Lake. She always knew how to make holidays special and she loved a good party! Sandra's greatest love was her family; and at family functions, Sandra and Ron could be heard saying, "Look at what we created" as they lovingly observed their children and grandchildren. She was well liked by everyone and always had a kind, loving smile on her face. Beloved wife of the late Conrad "Ron" Goetz; dear mother of Rhonda (the late Randy) Smith, Debra (Jerome) Buback, Marta (the late Lawrence) Belbot, Linda Esmont, the late Donna (Joe) Upright, and Lisa (David) Dicken; loving grandmother of Michael (Jess) Smith, Stacey (fiance Mike) Rayl, Kelly (Jason) Yeager, Jacob (Kaitlyn) Buback, Kimberly (Robert) Brinker, Paul (Alexandra) Belbot, Sarah (John) Novak, Rachel (James) Sape, Deanna (John) Runde, Steven Esmont, Roger Daniels, Nicole Daniels, Jessica (fiance Corey) Daniels, Kerry (Michael) Huck, Katelyn Dicken, Matthew Dicken, and Nicholas Dicken; cherished great-grandmother of 30 and great-great-grandmother of 3; special friend of Ray Rzeppa; and sister of H.F. "Sonny" (Mariruth) Pyatt of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Sandra is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A visitation for Sandra will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan 48093. Sandra will lie in state at 9:00 AM until time of funeral mass at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, August 10th at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 15 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights, MI 48312.
