Sandra Mae Linde

February 3, 1965 – October 9, 2025

Sandra "Sandy" Mae Linde, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 3, 1965 to Harley and Shirley Knuth, Sandy lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering faith.

Sandy attended Michigan State University where she met the love of her life, Don Linde. While at college, she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Through her will and determination and the grace of God, she overcame her illness. Don and Sandy married on March 5, 1988 and built a beautiful life filled with laughter and love. Sandy's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children Stephen (Sara) and Michael (fiancé Claire) and grandchildren Gavin and Nora, her best friend and brother Bill, her in-laws Steven (Sheri) Linde, Rickie DeKam, Rodney (Sarah) DeKam, and Kimberly (Steven) Oswalt.

Sandy will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and generous nature. Even in the face of ongoing health challenges, she remained a beacon of grace and strength. Her deep faith never wavered, and she often declared, “God’s got this.” Her belief was not just a mantra, but the foundation of how she lived her life—with trust, hope, devotion, and resilience.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 2:00pm with visitors’ greeting starting at 1:00pm at St. Peter Lutheran Church (23000 Gratiot, Eastpointe, MI 48021).

Sandy’s life was a gift to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
