Family meant the world to Sandy, everything revolved around them and nothing else mattered. She doted on her grandchildren, always looking for new adventures to take them on and making countless treasured memories going to musicals, playgrounds, and anything fun she could find. She refused to miss any event, when her children were young she went to every single baseball game, dance recital, and with her granddaughter she was cheering her on at every gymnastics meet. Twice a year she would take the family to Frankenmuth and Bronner's, sitting down for a chicken dinner then picking out a new Christmas ornament. She loved to travel, going on road trips with everyone all over the country. While home in Michigan she would spend time with her husband David, sitting on their boat in Lake St. Clair, or spoiling her beloved golden retriever Peterson and snuggling with her Siamese cats Suki and Charlie. Every Sunday morning she would spend with David at their church, Motor City Church, in Troy. Sandy will be remembered for her ability to light up a room with the most contagious smile and laugh, telling amazing stories that could hold anyone’s attention, and her truly kind heart.
