Sharon was born and raised in Detroit. She met the love of her life, Max, through an introduction by his sister, and the two were married on May 23, 1959. They shared a beautiful life together for over five decades until his passing in 2012.
Sharon dedicated many years of her life to hard work and service. She was employed as an office secretary at Hazel Park Racetrack for 35 years, where she was known for her reliability and kindness. She also worked at DeKeyser Elementary as a crossing guard and lunch lady, roles that allowed her to care for and connect with the children in her community.
In her later years, Sharon found joy in attending the widows’ group at Community Christian Church and spending quiet time at home watching her favorite television shows. Above all, she was a generous and giving person, especially devoted to her family, always putting their needs before her own. Sharon will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Sharon was the beloved wife of the late Max. Loving mother of Gayle (Tim) Fletcher and Lynda (Ken) Edwards. Devoted grandmother of Kelly Shoupe, Michael (Harmony) Edwards, and Jeffrey (Allison) Edwards. Dear brother of Lee (Judi) Watson. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Sharon will be held on Monday, April 6th from 3-8pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road in Warren. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at 12pm at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township.
