

Born on March 6, 1946, to Harvey and Cecilia Gill, Sharon lived a life centered on family, love, and devotion to those closest to her. She was the beloved wife of Andrew Curry for 57 wonderful years, sharing a lifetime of memories, partnership, and unwavering commitment.
She was a loving mother to Sharisse Likins (Matthew), Andrew Curry (Jennifer), and preceded in death by her son Stephen. She was a proud grammie to Grace, Elaina, Adam, Carley and Steven. Her grandchildren brought immense joy to her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Sharon was a cherished sister to Marlene Wurth( Kenneth) and Gary Gill (preceded by Susan) and was preceded in death by her brothers, Gerald Gill and Roger Gill.
Some of Sharon’s happiest moments were spent making memories with her family on vacations and camping trips. She loved traveling out East, spending time in Lewiston, camping at Higgins Lake, and visiting the Outer Banks. Her family will forever cherish the long car rides out East, lively family poker nights in Lewiston, euchre games at Higgins Lake, and unforgettable golf cart adventures with the grandchildren in OBX. These moments brought her tremendous joy and created memories that will forever be cherished.
Sharon had a special love for gardening and was admired by many for her beautiful flower beds and carefully tended gardens. She found joy and peace in caring for her flowers and took pride in creating beauty around her home. She was also a devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers, and when anyone asked, “Who’s your Tiger?” her answer was always Riley Greene.
In 2014, Sharon was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. True to her spirit, she faced the disease with determination, courage, and resilience. She was determined to beat it and absolutely went down fighting, inspiring those around her with her strength and perseverance throughout her journey.
Sharon will be remembered for her caring heart, quiet strength, warmth, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created and the love she shared will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Road Warren, Michigan 48093.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the funeral home with gathering beginning at 10:00am until 11:00am service.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
