Sharon Ann Stawski

Sharon was raised in Warren and graduated in 1974 from Warren Woods High School, where she was ranked in the top ten of her graduating class. She continued her education at Macomb Community College and later graduated from Wayne State Universitywith a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1978, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Sharon dedicated her career to caring for others, working as a respiratory therapist at Henry Ford Hospital in Clinton Township. After more than 37 years of compassionate service in the healthcare field, she retired in 2016.

Family was the center of Sharon’s life. She enjoyed gardening, researching genealogy, and spending time babysitting the many children in her family. She was deeply family-oriented and was lovingly known as a “second mom” and “second grandma” to her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Sharon was generous, warm-hearted, and proud of her Polish heritage. She also enjoyed playing the piano and loved to sing, bringing joy to those around her.

She was the dear sister of Jim (Denise) Stawski and Karen (Peter) Hilss. Loving aunt of Christopher (Becca), Matthew, Sarrah, and Jessica Stawski, Rebecca (Jonatan) Martinez, Adam (Olga) Hilss, and David (Sasha) Hilss. Devoted great-aunt of Anthony, Noelle, Katrina, Scarlett, and Violet. She is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The ALS Association.

Visitation will be held at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI 48093, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. Reflection Service.

Sharon will lie in state at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 12 Mile Road, Warren, MI 48088, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038, at 12:00 noon.
