Born in Detroit to the late Oswald and Ruth Leek, Sharon worked at the City of Warren in the Treasurer and Controllers Offices until retirement. Aside from her love for her grandchildren and family, she had a number of hobbies in her lifetime. Sharon had a passion for experiencing new places and cultures so she traveled whenever an opportunity arose. She flew internationally to the Bahamas, Germany, England, and more. Sharon showed her dedication to her faith in church singing choirs her entire life, years of teaching Sunday school, and always being willing to work where needed. She also enjoyed quilting, and gardening. Sharon was always supportive of the arts as both a theater patron and was an Usher at the Detroit Opera House in the years after her retirement.

Visitation Saturday, October 30th at 11am until time of Funeral Service at 12pm at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 620 Romeo Rd in Rochester. Burial to take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Twp.
