She was a loving mother to Tammy (Michael) Daschke and Dennis Lucey, and a proud grandmother to Alicia Nysen, Alyssa (Joe Burelle) Auth, and Katherine (Joe) Kelly. Shelby was also a devoted great-grandmother to 11 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way—a joy she eagerly anticipated.
Shelby was preceded in death by her sisters, Bonnie and Sharon.
An avid bowler, Shelby found both friendship and fun on the lanes. She and Ray also shared a deep love for NASCAR, traveling to and attending many races over the years, including the iconic Daytona—memories they treasured dearly.
Shelby will be remembered for her warmth, her dedication to family, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the generations she leaves behind.
A visitation will be held at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, 3-8pm.
