Sophie Mary Barry

Sophie was a proud member of the Roseville Seniors, the Roseville Hi-Steps, Praying Hands, and the Corporal Neil Reid Post Auxiliary. She married the love of her life, Stewart on January 10, 1942, and spent 71 loving years together before his passing in 2013. Sophie loved to travel, bake, play Bingo, and most of all spend time with her family.

Sophie was the beloved wife of the late Stewart. Loving mother of the late Dennis (Janice), the late Gordon, Cindy (Alan) Lindstrom, Lynn (Keith) Cundiff, Brian, Chris, and Michele (Mark) Makowski. Cherished grandmother of Eric, Tiffany (Ron), the late Ian, Sarah (Stephen), Kim, Nick, Heather, Jeremy, Michael (Becky), Alex, and Peter. Adored great-grandmother of Jake, Alexis, Caden, Sami, Amy, Allie, Justin, Jordan, and Alexandra.

Visitation for Sophie will be held on Thursday, October 20th from 3-9pm with a 7pm Scripture Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI. She will lie In State on Friday, October 21st from 10:30am until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11am at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Catholic Church, 18720 13 E Thirteen Mile Rd, Roseville, MI.
