

Stanley Joseph Lipinski, age 82 of Warren died Friday, October 09, 2009 at St. John Macomb Hospital Center in Warren. Stanley was born November 18, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Stanley Lipinski and the late Helen (nee: Glugla) Lipinski. He was raised in Detroit and served in the Army during Korean Conflict having attained the rank of Sergeant. After his military service Mr. Lipinski went to work for Phoenix Wire Cloth where he worked for over 48 years before retiring. Mr. Lipinski was quite a bowler, having achieved many accolades and trophies. He also loved to golf, fish, and travel up north with his nephews Tom and Tony and their families. His family will remember uncle Stan as the consummate jokester, but one whom prided himself on always being supportive of his family and willing to help anyone. Stanley Lipinski was the beloved brother of Edward (Erna) Lipinski, and the late Leo Lipinski, Walter Lipinski, and Helen Drewek. He is the dear uncle of Tony (Marlene) Drewek, Elaine Drewek, Tom (Debbie) Lipinski, Diane Lipinski, and the late Leo Lipinski, Ronald Lipinski, Gary Drewek, Robert Drewek, and Great uncle of Jordan, Jenna, Robert (Lisa), and T.J. Great-great uncle of Ella Drewek. Visitation for Mr. Lipinski will be Monday from 5-9 pm with a 7pm Scripture Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile). Mr. Lipinski will lie in state Tuesday 9:30 am at St. Clement Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 am. Interment with military honors will be on Wednesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Michigan. Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Lipinskis memory to the Capuchin Fathers, 1820 Mt.
