Stella Dokmanovich

Beloved wife of the late Nick. Loving mother of David (Demetra), Chad (Melba), and Holly Dokmanovich. Proud Baba of Michael, Maria, Tess, and Emma. Stella was predeceased by her siblings, Ray, Jenny, and Mary.

Stella was born and raised in Detroit. She and Nick settled in Warren where they started their home and raised their family. She worked as an executive secretary before deciding to step back to raise the kids full time. She and the family are longtime parishioners of St. Stevan Decanski Serbian Orthodox Church. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and browsing garage sales. She was known to have said, "When I am unable to go to garage sales, do not resuscitate." But she was a true matriarch and loved to take care of her family and look after her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home on Monday, September 22, 4-8pm. Prayer service at 7pm Monday. A funeral service will take place at St. Petka Serbian Orthodox Church on Tuesday, September 23, at 10am. Gathering at the church begins at 9am.

Interment to follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township.
