Sylvain C. Levesque age 46 of Clinton Township, died Sunday, April 3, 2011, at St. John Hospital in Detroit. He was born September 30, 1964 in Montreal, Canada, the son of the late Bernard Levesque and Johanna (nee: Proteau) (Adrian) Girard. After graduating from Chippewa Valley High School in 1983, Sylvain went to trade school and worked part time for JC Pennys. His abilities started to shine through as a Master Welder while employed with Midas Muffler. After a few years, Sylvain and a couple of friends decided it was time to put their skill sets to work for themselves and opened up their own muffler & brake shop. With even more experience under his belt and the increased knowledge he had developed, Sylvain figured it was time to put it to good use and, subsequently, accepted a job at SAS Global in Warren where he enjoyed working and exercizing the talents he had labored hard to accrue. On July 18, 1998, Sylvains life was wonderfully changed when he watched his beautiful bride walk down the aisle and promised himself in marriage to the love of his life, Heather. The two would share almost 12 wonderful years together, growing and building a family. In January of 2000, Sylvain and Heather became the proud parents of their son, Ben, with whom he enjoyed being a father, friend, and mentor. Some of Sylvains greatest passions were found in fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed watching his championship Red Wings, being mesmerized by the beauty of a bon fire, the thrill of motorcycle riding, and the timeless joy of playing video games with his son. From his more creative side, Sylvain possessed a love for music which found its form in that of a drummer. For close to two years, he enjoyed emanating that drummer's prowess as a member of the band, "The Villians's." Lastly, Sylvain was even more affectionately known as the family jokester. He had a wonderful sense of humor,...and" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">...and even on one of your worst days, he could make you laugh. Bringing joy and happiness to the lives of others was very important to him, and his life has left an imprint on so many hearts. To those who will miss Sylvain the most, may the memories & warmth of the love & laughter shared be a source of strength and guidance as he looks down, now, as your Guardian Angel. Listen close,...and you just might hear him beating out a few riffs on his new "heavenly" drum set, too! He was the beloved husband of Heather. Loving and devoted father of Ben. Cherished son of Johanna (Adrian) Girard. Brother and friend of Lyne (Tim) Morrell. Caring uncle of Jeff, and Holly Morrell. Son in law of Laurie (John) Gorence. Grandson in law of Nana. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends. Visitation for Sylvain will be held on Wednesday, April 6th from 2:30 pm 9:00 pm with an evening service at 7pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common at (12 Mile Road) in Warren. Please share memories at his guest book.
