Sylvia Mae Williams, age 87, died Thursday, May 24, 2018 at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren following a brief illness. Sylvia was born May 29, 1930 in Camden, Tennessee, daughter of the late Jessie James and the late Delphie (nee; Pafford) Jackson.Sylvia was the beloved wife of the late Robert who preceded her in death on July 30, 1996. She was the loving mother of Opal (Bob) Gaines, and the late Charles Lee Williams. Dearest grandmother of Kimberly (Bob) Needham and Dawn (Rick) Gaines. Cherished great-grandmother of Stephanie and Steven Elanges. Devoted sister of William (Janet) Jackson, the late Phillip Jackson, the late Wanda Laws, and the late Alvin Wilson. Visitation for Sylvia will be held Tuesday, May 29th from 3 - 8 pm, with a 7 pm Funeral Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd) in Warren.A Graveside Service for Mrs. Williams will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 30th at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.Please share memories at Sylvia's guest book above.
