Terena "Terry" L. Potter, age 66, of Clinton Township died Thursday, January 15, 2009 at her home. Terena was born April 22, 1942 in Garrett, Kentucky the daughter of the late Curtiss and the late Alma (nee: Tackett) Slone. Her family said she loved to garden. Her favorite flower was the yellow rose. She also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. They meant the world to her. Terena is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Jim Jr., Scott (Carol), and Terri Griffin; grandchildren, Bobby, Kellen, Nicole, and the late Mitchell; sister, Betty (Jimmy) Chaffins. Visitation for Mrs. Potter will be held Saturday 1-4 pm immediately followed by a 4pm Knights of Columbus Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). Memorial contributions may be made in Terena's name to the American Lung Association.
