Theresa Donahue

Marie Theresa "Theresa" Donahue, age 80 of Rochester New York and formerly of Warren Michigan, died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Woodside Manor in Brighton New York. Theresa was born April 20, 1927 in Ontario, Canada the daughter of the late Oscar LeClair and the late Jeanne (nee: LePage) LeClair. Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Robert. She is the dearest mother of Charles (Kris) Donahue, Susan (Jay) Shayevitz, Michael (Shirley) Donahue, Linda Donahue, Kevin (Beth) Donahue, Dale Donahue, and Patrick Donahue, and loving grandmother of Jason, Monique, Chelsey, Ashley, Kate, Derrick, Rachel, Deena, Avram, Givon, and Jacob. Theresa was the dear sister of Gerard LeClair, Anne Marie Armstrong, Edward LeClair, and the late Andrew, Horace, and Marie. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren. Theresa was raised in Canada and moved to Detroit, Michigan after she married her husband in 1949. Later she and her husband moved their family to Warren where she would reside for more than 50 years. If there was ever an award for best Mom and homemaker it would have been given to Theresa. Theresa loved her family and grandchildren. Her family and friends will remember her baking wonderful cookies and always welcoming friends into her home. Visitation for Mrs. Donahue will be Thursday from 5-9 pm with a 7:00pm Rosary service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 mile). Mrs. Donahue will lie in state Friday 9:30 am until time of the Funeral Mass 10:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Church. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Alberto Bondy.
