Theresa was raised in Warren, Michigan, where she attended Fitzgerald High School. She later graduated from Macomb Community College and went on to work as a medical assistant, a role that reflected her caring and compassionate nature. Over the years, she also worked in various restaurants, but the title she carried most proudly was that of Domestic Engineer—devoted housewife, wife, mother, and grandmother.
On September 21, 1985, Theresa married the love of her life, Mark, beginning a marriage filled with love, partnership, and countless cherished memories. Theresa enjoyed reading and treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the absolute light of her life. She loved annual family trips to the Smoky Mountains, where she delighted in scenic drives through the mountains and created lasting traditions—most memorably spoiling her grandchildren with a Build-A-Bear on every trip.
Closer to home, Theresa enjoyed strolling through Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland with her husband. When the grandchildren joined, she made sure each visit included something special just for them, a small reflection of her generous heart.
Above all else, Theresa will be remembered for her love of family, her gentle spirit, and the joy she found in making others feel cared for. Her memory will live on in the traditions she created and the love she shared so freely.
Theresa was the beloved wife of Mark. Loving mother of Lauren Boylan, Samantha (Steven) Siwka, and the late Christopher Sroka. Adored grandmother of Hadley Boylan, Collin Mars, Zackary Siwka, and Savannah Siwka. Cherished sister of Gerald Nagel and Pam Goers. Dear niece of Emiliano and Liz Nuneza. She is also survived by many loving cousins.
Visitation for Theresa will be held on Tuesday, December 30th from 3-8pm with a Prayer Service and Eulogy at 6:30pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 31st at 10am at the Funeral Home. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
