Thomas Richard Becher, age 55 of Dryden, died peacefully Monday, October 20, 2008 at his home surrounded by his wife and family. Tom was born February 01, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late John L. Becher and the late Margaret (nee: Brown) Becher. Tom was raised in the village of Warren and graduated from Warren High School class of 1971. He went on to attend Macomb Community College and eventually graduate from Wayne State University with a Bachelors degree. Thomas worked for Delta Tool and Engineering for over twenty years. When Tom was not working he loved staying at his home in Dryden, enjoying the natural setting away from the city. He enjoyed feeding the deer and squirrels. Also he was a bowler, and an avid card player, playing cards with family and friends, and when he was not playing cards he could be found on a golf course playing the game he loved. Tom is survived by his loving wife Christine. He is the dearest brother of Pat Becher, Jack (Jean) Becher, and the late Bob Becher. Mr. Becher was the beloved son of the late John and Marge Becher. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation for Tom will be Wednesday from 2:00-9 pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile). Funeral services will be held Thursday October 23, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Officiating the Funeral will be Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
