Thomas Michael Brown

Thomas Michael Brown, age 54 passed away December 5th, 2008 at his home in Warren after a courageous battle against cancer, surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born September 19, 1954 in Highland Park, Michigan the son of Thomas M. and Betty (nee: Korman) Brown. Tom was raised in Warren and graduated from Warren Woods High School class of 1972. Tom met and married his high school sweetheart Debbie and they also settled with their family in Warren. Tom had a lifelong passion for trains and was very proud of his 35 years as a union conductor with Canadian National North America, formerly Grand Trunk Western Railroad. He will be greatly missed by a large extended family of dear and supportive friends. Tom is the beloved husband of over 33 years to Deborah M. (nee: Wheeler). He is the proud father of Steven Brown and Shannon (Joseph) Huizdos. Loving son of Thomas and Betty Brown. Dearest brother of Leigh (Richard) Bull and Christopher Brown. Devoted son-in-law of Jamison and the late Geraldine Wheeler. Dear brother-in-law of Charlotte (the late Gary) Kurntz and Robert Wheeler. Tom is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation for Tom will be Monday from 5-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 mile). Tom will lie in state Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church, 32300 Schoenherr Road, Warren at 10:00 am until time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Officiating the Funeral will be Rev. Pastor Daniel Cave. Interment will follow the service at Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills. Please share memories of Tom at his guest book.
