Thomas Michael Farrell

Thomas M. Farrell, age 63 of Warren, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. Tom was born on October 7, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Lorenzo and the late Gladys (nee: Boyd) Farrell. At the age of 22, Tom married Bernadette (Bernie) Falkowski on August 24, 1968 at St. Dorothy's Catholic Church of Warren. Tom worked for General Motors Corporation from August 8, 1966 until he retired on June 30, 2008 as a Wood Model Maker. He attended Casinos Wild Dealer School and MGM Dealers Academy and was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. He was also a former member of the Knights of Columbus. The hobbies Tom enjoyed most included reading, bowling, golfing and volunteering as a card dealer at charity events. He absolutely loved playing cards. Tom was the beloved husband of Bernie for 41 years. He was the loving father of Michaelene (Dave) Schirmer of Macomb, and Brian of Warren. He was the dear grandfather of Matthew, and Kathryn. He was the brother of Robert (Marguerite), Joann Guzek, and the late Irene (Richard) Harry. Visitation for Tom will be held on Sunday from 3-9 pm with a 7 pm Rosary Serice at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 Mile Road). Tom will lie In State on Monday at 9:00 am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 9:30 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Officiating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny.
