Mick was born in the village of Cockayne Hatley, England, and lived a life marked by deep love, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to his family. On March 31, 1962, he married the love of his life, Christine. Their marriage was a true partnership that spanned more than six decades, until Christine’s passing in 2024.
In 1964, Mick made the life-changing decision to move to Michigan, bringing his family across the ocean to build a new future. He pursued a career as a skilled pattern and model maker in the automotive industry—a trade he not only excelled in but eventually turned into a career of his own.
Outside of work, Mick had many passions. He was an avid dart player, a loyal West Ham United fan, and found great joy in golfing and hunting. Evenings were often spent watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, putting together puzzles, or enjoying a game of Keno. Later in life, he cherished his time spent in Springhill, Florida, where he could relax and reflect on a life well lived.
Mick will be remembered for his wit, warmth, and enduring commitment to those he loved. His legacy lives on in the stories, laughter, and memories he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mick was the beloved husband of the late Christine. Loving father of Susan (Frank) Midgley, Christian (Deb) Jagot, and Karen Jagot. Adored granddad of Stefan Jagot, Sarah (Ricky) Paprocki, Andrew (Arianna) Jagot, Claire (Reece Williams) Warznie, and Hutch. Adored great granddad of Amelia Jagot and Baby Paprocki on the way. Dear brother of Margaret Dance and Jane (Paul) Davis.
A Memorial Visitation for Mick will be held on Friday, October 10th from 4-8pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road in Warren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to the Dementia Society of America, 188 N Main St, Doylestown, PA 18901.
