Thomas Joseph Kufchock

Thomas Joseph Kufchock, age 83, died Thursday, October 25, 2018 at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan. Thomas was born December 9, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Thomas Kufchock and the late Kathleen (nee: Hartley) Kufchock.Mr. Kufchock was raised in Detroit where he graduated high school. Thomas was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving his country as an airman with the 4400th Bomb Crew Squadron during the Korean War. He served with pride and received the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, along with an Air Crew Member Badge. With thanks and praise from a grateful nation, we honor Thomas' service to our country and extend our posthumous gratitude for the sacrifices made in answering his call to duty with a patriot's heart.Thomas was the beloved husband of the late Marie. Dear father of Karen (Allan) Dolecki, Ellen (Alexander) Fylak, Liane Kufchock, and Arlene (Herb Tanzer) Kufchock. Beloved brother of Margaret Dion and John (Nancy) Kufchock. Cherished grandfather of Allan (Emily) Dolecki, Daniel Dolecki, Andrew Fylak, Natalie Fylak, and Lilah Kole. Visitation for Mr. Kufchock will be held on Sunday, October 28th from 3-9 pm, with a 7pm Rosary Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. Mr. Kufchock will life in state from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 9:30 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Warren. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Reverend Fr.
