Uncle Tom was an amazing individual. He often put on a tough act but deep down he was a teddy bear. He always made ya laugh at just the right time. But also knew how to give tough love. 
My mom (Ann Solowski) was known as brat. So by default so was I haha! Whenever, he use to visit my Grandma (his sister, Mary Solowski) the first thing on the table was a Pepsi. She knew how much he loved that drink. Their sibling bond was and still is unbreakable.

Tom, you will be forever missed. Over the last twenty years I’ve been a part of your family, you were like a father to me. I thank you for all the kindness you showed me and my children. I cannot remember a time that I asked you for a ride or a jump for a vehicle for myself or one of my children; you never said No. You had a kind heart even when you tired to conceal it. You have been there for so many people. You touch many lives. I loved your sense of humor. Rest now and fly high. You are and always will be loved and remembered. Love Tammy

To my dad who meant the world to me. I will miss  coming over to your house almost every day before I got to work for a pop and see what you have to eat. And of course messing with you and tell you I want a hug from you.  There will not be a day that goes bye that I won’t miss you. There are some many thing I have learned from you like don’t miss work and work hard for what you want.  Alway be on time and alway help everyone out.  I know I might have gotten on your nerve because I was the baby for  a little while then you have me two sister that I love dearly. I will keep my eye on mom and the rest of the family. for you dad and help them out when she needs it. I will keep trying to make you proud of me dad and have a heart of gold just like you. I have been Tom's childhood friend along with Tim on Maryland avenue located on the east side of Detroit. Growing up on Maryland avenue we spent hours upon hours together playing and of course getting into trouble too!  We biked together as kids down to the foot of Alter Road.  As we grew older, we worked on each other’s cars and later boats. When I got into boating, I never really had a decent truck to tow and launch my boat.  Tom to the rescue helping me out as he always had a truck big enough to do the job. He never once asked or would take gas money …  we were true buddies! We have stayed in touch all these years even though I moved away in 2010 to San Diego.  He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. God bless him and his family through these sad times and may he rest in peace.

Tom was  allways nice to us when we visited the family he always took Marg shopping and always made us welcomed He had a big heart. We cannot come due to illness but our thoughts will be with all the family. Love and hugs to all from Canada .

Uncle Tom will forever be missed and cherished. I’ll always remember him coming over and calling me his brat or even asking for a cold pepsi. I love you Unks so much and to his family if you need anything I’m here. Love you all
