Trudy devoted 35 years of her life to her career as a banker, and she loved every moment of it. For Trudy, work was never just a job; her coworkers were her second family, and she treated them with all the love and loyalty that implied. She also held deep, lasting bonds with her long-time clients, many of whom came to know her not just as their banker, but as a trusted and caring presence in their lives.
It was within those very walls that Trudy's greatest chapter began. A coworker and dear friend, Barbara, was approached one day by a charming client named Adam, who jokingly confessed he could use a little help finding the right woman. Barbara smiled, because she knew just the person. She passed along Adam’s number to Trudy, and the rest, as they say, is history. That was over 25 years ago, and from that day forward, Trudy and Adam were inseparable, two people who found in each other exactly what they were looking for.
Together, they shared a deep and quiet love, one built as much on simple presence as on grand gestures. They loved to travel, embarking on road trips and long car rides where the journey itself was the joy. More than any destination, it was being in each other's company that they treasured most; sitting together, talking, and simply existing in one another's world.
Outside of her devotion to Adam and her work family, Trudy found joy in the pages of a good book and in the quiet beauty of her garden. She tended her flowers with the same gentle care she gave to everyone and everything she loved. Trudy also loved cats, she had a soft spot for the strays in the area, and they eventually called her place home. Those who knew Trudy knew her to be a down-to-earth woman; sweet, forgiving, and deeply appreciative of life's smallest blessings. She never needed much to be grateful, because she understood, perhaps better than most, that the little things are rarely little at all.
Trudy is survived by her beloved partner, Adam, and by all those whose lives she quietly and permanently made better; coworkers, clients, and friends who were fortunate enough to be loved by her.
She will be deeply missed, and just as deeply remembered.
