Valien is the personification of sunshine. His smile was so beautiful that it could brighten any room and bring warmth to everyone around him. He loved laughing, exploring the world around him, and discovering something new wherever he went.
Curious, bright, and incredibly smart, Valien approached life with wonder. He loved to explore and experience everything with his little hands and, naturally, loved chewing on just about everything he could get his hands on. His joyful personality and sweet spirit made every moment with him precious.
Though his time on earth was far too short, Valien is deeply loved and will forever be cherished by his family. He brought a special light into their lives that will never be forgotten. His smile, his curiosity, his sweetness, and the love he gave so freely will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Valien’s seven months were filled with love, laughter, discovery, and precious memories. His life may have been brief, but the love he inspired is everlasting. Forever our sunshine, forever our baby, and forever in our hearts.
Valien is the beloved son of Irine-Valeria Neba and Torien Barnes. Loving grandson of Florence Bisanga, ShaTonyia Harris and the late Rio Barnes. Dear nephew of Benson Neba, and Ava Hudson, Ross Neba, Riona Barnes and Quinton Lindsay, Ria Barnes and Maurice Hill, Shantae Barnes, and Rio Jr. and Tasha Barnes. He is also loved by many cousins and many more family members.
Visitation for Valien will be held at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road) in Warren, on September 24, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. He will lie In State at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 13500 Oak Park Blvd, Oak Park, MI 48237, on September 25, 2026, from 10:30am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Detroit Memorial Park (West), 25062 Plymouth Road in Redford.
