He was born on March 1. 1945 in Germany, son of the late Boleslaw and the late Stanislawa (nee: Piotrowski) Pas.On October 13, 1949, when Vincent was just 4 years old, his family emigrated to America where they would begin their new life together in the Detroit area. That is where he was nurtured, schooled, and grew to be the hard-working man he was. As for employment, Vincent's natural abilities were well suited for the career he enjoyed as a Machine Operator in the automotive industry. When he wasn't working, Vincent enjoyed a number of different hobbies and pastimes. Perhaps the most prevalent of these were found in his love of gaming. From the various computer games that kept him busy for hours,...to the fun and entertainment he shared with friends and family around the card table,...or heading to the casino to give his favorite "Frog Game" a whirl, Vincent was always a sharp competitor be it man or machine. His gaming spirit had another side as well which was centered around the realm of sports. He loved the challenge of a good game of golf,...enjoyed getting his exercise while bicycling,...and his favorite of all was bowling. A league bowler for many years, Vincent's prowess on the lanes earned him numerous trophies and awards for his talent and skills against the pins. Another of Vincent's passions was found in his reading pleasures. Of the plethora of authors he enjoyed, two of his favorites were the works of James Patterson and Janet Evanovich. He was an avid reader who loved to build upon his knowledge and whose library was replete with interesting and eclectic stories. Beloved husband of Zofja ("Sophie"). Dearest brother of Theresa Zajkowski, Regina Rue, Mary Green, and Joseph (Sue) Pas. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
