

Werner W. Boese, 82, of Warren, died Friday, April 14, 2006 at his home. He was born May 16, 1923 in Germany. In his 20's Werner moved to the U.S, not knowing the language. He married his wife Emma October 16, 1954. He and Emma had a small group of friends that they enjoyed socializing with, this usally including the men playing cards while the women chatted and enjoyed each others company. In the summer Werner and his family liked to spend time at their cottage at Sugar Springs in Gladwin. Some other favorite pastimes of his were golfing with the "boys", fishing and dancing. Werner was always a hard working man, and never would ask you to work any harder than he was willing to work himself. He spent his career as a tool and die model maker. He made a good life for himself and his family with his dedication and perserverance. Everyone knew he was a generous and sentimental man and would give you the shirt off his back. He was always there to help out family and friends. Werner is survived by his loving wife, Emma; children, Marlene (Jack) DeBois, Ken, Heidi and Debbie (Greg) VanAmberg; and grandchildren, Carson, Jacob and Gabrielle. Visitation for Werner will take place Monday from 2-5 & 6-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 1/2 Mile). A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 18th at 11:00 am at the funeral home. The service will be officated by Pastor Jerry Weinzierl. Interment will take place at Michigan Memorial Cemetery, Flat Rock. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be makde to the American Cancer Society, 18505 W. 12 Mile Rd., Southfield, MI 48076. "I've lived my life the best I could and I have no regrets."
