Born in Barrington, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (DeAngelis) Suriani. She worked as a beloved Special Education bus driver for the Barrington School Department for 27 years.
She was an avid Boston sports fan, especially devoted to the New England Patriots. She enjoyed vacationing in Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire as well as spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She was an active member of the Barrington United Methodist Church for over 40 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Lauren A. Canders Rivera and her husband David of Warren and Lisa M. Canders of Warwick; one son, Neil M. Canders of Riverside; one sister, Kathleen L. Suriani of Barrington; one brother, Michael Suriani of Narragansett; three grandchildren, Mari Canders, Kailey Canders Rivera and Christopher Hall; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10 am. The service will be held in the Barrington United Methodist Church, 230 Washington Road, Barrington, R.I.
